Prep Time:20 mins
Cook Time:10-20 mins
Ingredients:
8-10 cloves of Garlic, super fine chopped/paste
4"x1" ginger root super fine chopped/paste
1/4 cup of honey
2 cups chicken broth
4-6 tablespoons soy sauce
4 tablespoons of oyster sauce
4 tablespoons of corn starch
Preparation:
Blend all ingredients, and let sit for a little bit then taste. You should taste all 3 items and the Garlic should be that raw garlic type of taste. The honey should cut the rawness of the garlic so tastes alright. If the garlic is too in your face, add a little more honey. If you find the ginger gets overshadowed, a little ginger powder brings it right back up. Now, don't worry about raw garlic flavor, there needs to be some in there, when you cook the sauce, the garlic mellows out and become much more savory and palatable and that's why you don't overdo the honey. The raw sauce shouldn't taste amazing, should take like ginger honey with a little too much raw garlic.
Cooking Directions:
Stir fry what ever, add sauce, you want this to simmer for a good 10 mins or more with the sauce for the garlic to cook. Serve with rice/rice noodles.
