We proudly host 2 active guilds in SWToR and we have many players active daily. Both guilds offer a fun, friendly, and relaxed community driven environment with no hassles or drama. We're a group of friends who play hard and fight fair, with ultimate fun as our goal. We're looking for new members who are civilized, like-minded, mature, and play fair. Gaming experience, playstyle, and stats are not important, quality in character is what we ultimately seek.
Brothers of War is a clan and we're always accepting applications, however you do not have to join our clan in order to join the guilds in-game. Clan membership is required however for higher level ranks in the guild. If you wish to join the clan please read our application topic and post your application for review. We have a Teamspeak voice server available for those age 18 and over.
Both guilds are located on the Shadowlands server.
We've outfitted a stronghold for the guild and a guild bank is available for guild members.
If you wish to join the guild just ask any member and we'll shoot you an invite!
You MUST join Teamspeak at least once before we recruit you!
You can also post in this topic with your character name.
Guild Officers are appointed by the GM's, this rank is a highly restricted position and only appointed to active BoW clan members. Don't ask for this position, if you're officer material we'll ask you. Guild Officers assist with daily operations and are guild bank Quartermasters. Clan membership and Teamspeak required.
Senior Spaceballs are senior guild members who are also BoW clan members. This position carries the responsibility of helping others to level and complete missions, as well as helping the guild in any way possible. Bear in mind these members are gamers like the rest of us so they may not always be able to drop what they're doing right away. Clan membership and Teamspeak required.
The Spaceball rank is the bulk rank of the guild, it's where most members will reside. Clan membership is not required however you must be active in our Teamspeak server as this position is allowed to invite new recruits.
Junior Spaceball is reserved for players who do not participate in Teamspeak and have not joined the Brothersofwar.org clan. Those who pass our probationary period will be promoted to Junior Spaceball, however you will not have additional powers or access to the guild bank and you are not allowed to directly recruit new members, Junior Spaceballs may, however, direct possible candidates to higher ranking members of the guild.
New Recruits undergo a 2~4 week probation period before consideration for a promotion to Junior Spaceball. This probation period varies because it depends on how active you are. We look for friendly, helpful players who will stick around and remain loyal to the guild. Clan membership and Teamspeak is not required however if you have a mic please feel free to join our Teamspeak.
As for guild rules, use common sense, we're easy to get along with and we're not going to boss you around. Be kind, show respect to others, and play fair, that's all we ask. If you like drama, flaming, disrespect, or unsportsmanlike behavior; we're not the guild for you.

I have been trying to get L4D2 installed for like 3 days now. It gets to about 4.5gbs of 7.5 and then won't stay connected to finish.
I installed 4 other games with no issues on steam so it is just L4D2 that is having the problem.

Peter Mayhew recently passed away at the age of 74. While some may not know his face or name, he was the man behind the Chewbacca outfit in the Star Wars franchise. He portrayed Chewbacca in The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Revenge of the Sith, The Force Awakens, as well as other roles in the Star Wars franchise.

Gamespy shutdown gives birth to C&C:Online
Command & Conquer Generals was the first C&C title powered by GameSpy, that was just over eleven years ago and was the first Commander & Conquer title under the Electronic Arts umbrella! June 1st, 2014 marked the end of an era, GameSpy was permanently shutdown
Thanks to our fellow commanders at Gamereplays.org and Revora, I am pleased to announce that C&C:Online, the replacement hosting service for the Command and Conquer games affected by the GameSpy shutdown (CCG, ZH, Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath, RA3) was recently launched and you can still play online!
All the information you need to sign up and play can be found at the new C&C:Online web site. From there, you can find where to download the nifty launcher you will use to get online. You will need an account at Revora to log in and play. If you want to use your old GameSpy nick names in C&C 3 Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath, Red Alert, you will need to have your ownership verified in the Revora Member Management Forum. Read the Official announcement at Revora to find all you need to know and more.
Quick Start Guide
To play any of the supported games (CCG, ZH, TW, KW and RA3) you need a member account at Revora. The authentication for game log in is taken from that. Create a separate game password when you create your account. The instructions for doing that are here; cnc-online.
In all games except TW and KW, your Revora registration email is used as the "EA Account Name". In TW and KW, your Revora user name is used instead.
Nick names (Online IDs) are created for you if they do not already exist, like they were under GameSpy, when you log in.
To launch CCG and ZH you just need the latest version of GenTool and then launch the game as normal. That diverts the game IP addresses to Revora.
To launch TW, KW and RA3, you need the "launcher". You can download that from cnc-online. That patches the game in memory to avoid the EA Authentication and divert the IP addresses.

A GREAT DARKNESS HAS FALLEN ON THE GALAXY...
Unleashed from his sanctuary on Yavin 4, the former Sith Emperor has now struck the Imperial world of Ziost. Using his immense power in the dark side of the Force™, he has dominated the minds of the planet’s Imperial troops--as well as an elite cadre of militaristic Jedi--and has set them against the populace, engaging in a bloody slaughter. Join with allies Lana Beniko and Theron Shan to stop the Emperor’s terrifying assault in Game Update 3.2: Rise of the Emperor!
NOTE: A Level Cap of 60, which is included with the purchase of the latest story expansion, Shadow of Revan, is required to access the new storyline and the planet of Ziost in Game Update 3.2. Lead the battle against Revan, one of the galaxy’s most powerful characters and experience five new levels of story-driven Star Wars™ adventure.
“The scores of dead have nourished me. I am awakened. And I bring with me--death!” – Sith Emperor
Obsessed with achieving immortality, the Sith Emperor has targeted his own former subjects on the planet Ziost, with every death seemingly extending his dark power. Speaking through those he’s possessed, he controls powerful pawns like Master Surro, the leader of a team of elite militarized Jedi known as the Sixth Line.
As the Sith Emperor gradually dominates the free will of everyone on Ziost, both Lana Beniko, Minister of the newly formed Sith Intelligence, and Theron Shan, a spy for the Galactic Republic, are trying to stop the chaos. Your leadership in guiding them through the conflict on Ziost is critical to uncovering the former Sith Emperor’s terrifying plan.
Known as the “Gateway to the Empire,” the planet Ziost is in a state of chaos as innocent civilians are targeted by possessed pawns of the Sith Emperor. From the menacing “People’s Tower” in the city’s center to massive armored walkers patrolling for fresh targets, the Sith Emperor’s presence is overwhelming, his power growing with every death… Only you have the strength to stand against him.
